National Farmers Day

India is an agricultural country.
Our prosperity depends upon our agricultural production.
A farmer is the most important members of society.
The food we eat and the food that keeps us healthy and strong is provided to us by the farmers.
We are able to survive on this planet with the help of farmers and thus they are the most valuable and important people of our lives.

A farmer is the very soul of a nation. Our late prime minister, Lal Bahadur Shastri, gave a slogan, “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan.”
Opting out of your comfort zone and luxurious life one can still survive but even a day is difficult without food.
You feed upon it.
You need it at least thrice a day.

The farm and crops of a farmer are like his own family members to him.
If by any means his farm is in danger it would be unbearable and life threatening for him.

A person like me, who has enjoyed luxurious city life since birth may have a wrong aspect towards village life. We who believe cultivation an easy task as shown on the screens. Though the task may not be that easy but, in actual it is far away harder than what we believe.

Farmers are the backbone of our society.
The condition of farmers in India is critical. We are hearing suicide news of farmers every week or month. Moreover, farmers are all living a difficult life from past years. The problem is they are not getting enough pay.
The farmers contributes most of the yield to the Indian economy.
This is the maximum of all.
But still, a farmer is deprived of every luxury of society.
Anyways what’s the use of this useless luxury .
I think the muddy clothes of a farmer are better because the mud is of his own hard-work and persistence
If the farmer is rich, then so is the nation. He is a magician who produces money from the mud.
To a farmer, dirt is not a waste, it is wealth.

When we people stop at the farmers to buy some vegetables and fruits, inspite of education, earning power we start haggling with them for the price he is asking which is also worth but habitually we keep on bargaining for every rupee which we think can be saved.
Then if successful we feel highly proud that we could wrench that 5 to 10 rupees out of the farmers pocket.
On the other hand when we visit a mall people treat us like a king, but what are the actually doing?
They are fooling us and very cleverly wrenching our hard-earned money out of the pocket.
But the interesting thing to focus on is we don’t actually feel the pinch.
We got the things for a higher price than expected, but we didn’t bargain here. Ever thought why?
Don’t bargain with the farmers!
They are selling the items not to be rich but to survive.

As rightly stated by John Kennedy, “The farmer is the only man in our economy who buys everything at retail, sells it at wholesale, and pays the freight both ways.”
The occupation that feeds you is worth fighting for.

The Farmers agitation in Delhi, against The Farmers Bill 2020 has gained world wide support.
India’s said to be a ‘Krushi Pradhan’ Country and also Democratic!
Then why farmer’s speech is not been heard and forcefully suppressed by the Central Government?
This month the longest farmer protest ended !!
After such a long duration, yet unsatisfactory ..!

Through all the still struggling farmer knows no way to stop!
He will surely fight for his rights.
On the auspicious day of National Farmers Day my best wishes and millions times obeisance to the farmer king (बळीराजा)
