119 years ago, a boy was born who would never live long enough to see the India he dreamed of. Today, we remember Bhagat Singh. But perhaps too comfortably. We display his posters... We chant Inquilab Zindabad... We look upto him as a hero... Later revert to our lives, often learning to live with things that we know are not correct... INQUILAB , it was never meant to be just a slogan... It is a feeling. That moment when something inside you says— No. This is wrong. This cannot be normal. Something has to change. For Bhagat Singh, revolution meant far more than dethroning the colonial rulers. It meant eradicating the systemic exploitation, inequality, and social divides that allow oppression to thrive. To him, revolution was a continuous pursuit of a fairer world. That is why his message remains unsettlingly relevant today: we still face reasons to question authority, to feel righteous anger, and to ask whether true freedom has reached everyone...
